One of our most unique and jampacked experiences takes you from the rolling hills of Noosa's beautiful Hinterland to the tranquil waters of Mooloolaba River, this full day experience really does have something for everyone.

Your experience begins when your tour guide picks you up from your accommodation, briefs you on the day’s activities, gives your gift bag and welcomes you aboard our air-conditioned vehicle. 

 

The beautiful little town of Cooran is home to independent, family owned Noosa Hinterland Brewing Co. Housed in a heritage listed building, the old Alfredson’s Joinery, pre-cut house workshop, this place is worth a visit on its own.

 

This is a true microbrewery with the brew-kit and fermenters visible just over the bar. You’ll be visiting on a day that they’re not open to the public, so you’ll be able to pull up a stool at the bar and see the brewing process in action. Chat to the brewer or owner one-on-one with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and discuss the beers. Learn about ingredients, taste profiles and the process for each of their unique brews. Then enjoy a tasting paddle with 4 beers chosen by the brewer for you.

Learn the art of Mead making as passed down through the generations. Owners Nicola and Andy will have you truly engaged as they take you through bee keeping, the benefits and history of Mead. Andy comes from a family with a long history of beekeeping and Mead making and has a passion for all things Mead. Andy has honed his skill as a mead maker over the years under the watchful eye and plenty of advice from his grandfather.

 

Enjoy a guided tasting session with Andy and Nicola in their unique tasting room before heading to the lawn for a morning tea of fresh baked goods and seasonal fruit.

 

Next head to Sunshine & Sons Distillery to enjoy their superb small batch spirits, award winning gin and newly released Nil Desperandum Rum.

 

Created by four best mates with a passion for the warmth of the Sunshine Coast and beautifully made craft spirits, nestled in the lush Hinterland behind the Big Pineapple, this distillery is a must see.

Tour the distillery and meet Maria and Sarah, their gleaming 6,000 and 2,500 litre Tasmanian artisan pot stills. Hand-made from the finest German copper and meticulously custom-designed to create stunning and complex flavour profiles. See the volcanic rock used to filter their Original Vodka and learn the unique and funny stories behind their eye catching labels.

 

Head to the garden for an informative tasting session of their handcrafted spirits including Pineapple Parfait Gin, inspired by the 1970's desert once served at the Big Pineapple. Original Dry Gin, bursting with natural Australian botanicals. Mr Barista, an organic molasses spirit infused with coffee and macadamia nuts. Original Vodka, pot-distilled and filtered through local volcanic rock.

Then we take the sort but scenic coastal road to Mooloolaba where you'll be greeted by the crew from Coastal Cruises Mooloolaba.

Enjoy the sights and excitement of the Mooloolaba Harbour, River & Canals on their  fleet of luxury all-weather vessels, including Duffy, The Pacific Star and The Rum Runner.

 

Twilight has its own special meaning to everyone, and at Coastal Cruises Mooloolaba it means relaxation, fresh local food and crisp, cold drinks.
